Founded in 1985, Demco, Inc. has grown from a small local business into a respected name in the commercial hvac and metal specialties industry.
2000
A major turning point came in 2000 when longtime employees Dan Spata and Douglas Padera took ownership, bringing deep industry knowledge and a commitment to excellence that helped shape the company’s future.
2016
In 2016, Dan became the sole owner and continued to lead Demco with vision and dedication, expanding its capabilities and strengthening its reputation throughout the region.
2023
In 2023, the company entered a dynamic new chapter as Michele (Shelly) Spata acquired a 51% ownership stake and became President, making Demco proudly majority woman-owned.
Together, Dan and Shelly represent the evolution of Demco—honoring its past while driving progress for the future.
